Short-term incoming program

For ten days from July 1 to July 12, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering hosted the Kobe University Engineering Summer School 2024 (hereinafter referred to as KUESS24), an intercultural education program welcoming short-term incoming students. After receiving more than 100 applications this year, 20 students from RMIT University (Australia) and Mahidol University (Thailand) participated in this short-term program. In addition, several students from the Global Challenge Program (GCP) of Kobe University’s Faculty of Engineering have participated in this KUESS series each year. The Faculty of Engineering’s GCP has developed a short-term study abroad program for second-year students visiting RMIT University around March. After being sent overseas, the students also actively interact with those in the inbound program in Kobe.
